Broadsided . Words on the Streets

THE 2010 POST-A-THON: April 23 - 25

For National Poetry Month, we challenged you to collectively paper the world with Broadsides, figuring that if we put our minds, printers, and tape together, we could make a splash.

We asked you to bring along a digital camera, take a picture, then send it to us along with a brief description of your shot by April 27.

The best photos in the following categories were awarded a high-quality print of a Broadsided publication, signed by artist and author.

PRIZE CATEGORIES:
- Caught Looking: Snap a shot of someone staring at a Broadsided you've posted.
- Best Location: A unique spot for posting Broadsided.
- Arty: Moody, framed, unique in some way... this photo speaks.
- Editors' Choice: Because we don't know what you'll surprise us with!

We received so many fantastic Post-A-Thon entries, that the decision was incredibly difficult. Below are the winners... as you can see, we couldn't quite decide which entry fit our "Editors' Choice" category, so decided to award two winners. We love the collaborative nature of Susan Rich's entry and the sass of Cheryl Gross'.

Thank you to all who contributed!
