Collaborators’ Q&A: Poet Tobias Tegrotenhuis: I still feel so uncertain living in this adulthood I didn’t think I’d see… But then I realized that even though I’m relatively young, that doesn’t mean my perspective doesn’t mean something. Artist Karen Cappotto: Meadowville, which this painting comes from, is an entire body of work that was a direct result of hearing Brian Teare recite his poem “Starthistle.”

Artist Karen Cappotto‘s landscapes are in the Provincetown Art Association and Museum’s permanent collection and  her mixed media constructions have received multiple awards and prizes.  Tobias Tegrotenhuis is a Filipino-American lesbian poet based in Colorado. They are a 2022 Lambda Literary Fellow in Poetry.
